Bajaj has been updating its product line up with BS6 norms. Among this recently Pulsar 150 received BS6 upgrades. Pulsar 150 is one of the most sold 150cc bikes in India. Famous for its sporty look and engine performance, it is one of the best value for money bike.

Design

Pulsar 150 BS6 is similar to its BS4 variant in terms of design. The design of Pulsar has always been sporty and is quite popular among teens. The dual tone vibrant color scheme makes it more vibrant and attractive. It also gets a 3D printed logo, headlamp eyebrows, side panel mesh and alloy finished rail.

Specifications

The new Pulsar 150 BS6 gets 12V full DC headlamps, traditional bulb type indicators and signature LED tail lamp. In terms of suspension, at the front it gets Telescopic with Anti Friction bush and at the rear it gets 5 way adjustable Nitrox Shock absorber. Bajaj offers tubeless tyres both at the front as well as the rear. The front tyre size is 80/100 17 and at the rear it gets 100/90 17 inches.

In terms of engine it gets BS6 compliant 4 stroke, 2 valve, Twin spark 149.5 cc engine producing 14 PS @ 8000 rpm and torque of 13.4 Nm @ 6000 rpm. It is a air cooled engine and mated to a 5-speed manual transmission.

In terms of braking, The new Pulsar 150 now gets a Single Channel ABS and Electric Start as standard. The front disc happens to be 240mm and at the rear it gets either Drum/Disc based on the variant. It also gets full Digital instrument cluster
