So far Royal Enfield had no competition in terms of classic bikes, but now plenty of automakers have entered in this segment. The Jawa brand has been revived in India by Mahindra and has launched its iconic product once again in the Indian market. One of them is Jawa Perak, a.k.a Bobber. Perak is an iconic and historic product of Jawa and has been launched after one year of its introduction.
Design
Jawa Perak is a factory built Bobber. It looks gorgeous and muscular. Perak gets a typical cruise bike design with a comfortable riding position. Perak comes with a beautiful paint, Matte Black, Gray paint job along with gold Pinstriping on tank, panels and side fenders. The black centric theme along with brown floating seats gives it a typical Bobber look to this motorcycle.
In terms of features, Perak gets a traditional Halogen headlamp and LED tail light. The instrument cluster is a circular unit borrowed from Jawa standard. The engine is painted black which matches with the bike’s paint scheme.
Specifications
Perak a.k.a the Bobber comes with a Single Cylinder, 4 stroke, 334 cc Liquid Cooled engine producing a power of 30 PS and a torque of 31 Nm. It comes with 6-speed gearbox and Dual Channel ABS. Braking is handled by 280 mm Disc at the front and 240mm Disc at the rear.
The comfortable ride quality is provided by Telescopic forks at front and 7 steps adjustable monoshock at the rear. The engine gets liquid cooling along with twin exhaust and big radiator at the front of the engine.
