Skoda Kushaq Falls From 15 Feet Bridge, Did it Survive?

Skoda launched Kushaq in 2021 and it helped the company to gain significant amount of market share. The Kushaq is known for its tough build quality and here is the proof of the same. The video uploaded by youtuber Nikhil Rana shows, the compact SUV falls into 15 feet bridge. The video has gone viral and this incident happened in Beed on 2nd february.

As per reports, the compact SUV was driven at fast speed and driver lost the control. Kushaq falls into the canal, 15 feet deep. There were four occupants and fortunately all escape with minor bruises. The Kushaq known for its tough build quality, it remains intact which saved these young lives. The compact SUV seems to suffered minor damages on front and rear bumpers. The headlights appear to be broken. 

The Skoda Kushaq is one of the most safest car in the segment. The higher variants are equipped with six airbags. Apart from these, it is also equipped with ABS with EBD, hill assist control, electronic stability control, side curtain airbags, electronic differential lock and many more.

Kushaq was towed by tractor and it was taken out. As seen in the video, the Kushaq had minor damages and looks intact. Though Global NCAP ratings are not available yet, however the company CEO believes it will definitely score good safety rating. On the engine front, Skoda Kushaq is offered with both 1.0 litre and 1.5 litre TSI engine. The later engine produces whooping 147.51 hp and 250 Nm of torque.

Since launched, Skoda’s fortunes have changed completely. The company sold 23,858 units in 2021 which is 130% more than 2020. The price of Kushaq starts from 10.99 lakh ex showroom and goes up to 18.19 lakh.
