Honda CR-V Exterior
The Honda CR-V is a compact crossover SUV offered by the Japanese automaker. At the front, the SUV gets an LED Headlamps along with DRLs. The sleek headlights are beautifully integrated with Honda’s signature front grille, which makes it look bold and charismatic. The body colored bumper gets a black treatment at the bottom and is fitted with LED fog lamps and chrome border. The big hood with sharp lines gives it a distinct touch.
The big luxury SUV is fitted with 18 inch Diamond cut alloy wheels and body colored ORVMs & integrated side cameras. It gets a big chrome strip over the windows giving it a premium feel. At the rear, the unique designed LED tail lights and big Honda chrome strip on the smart tailgate which look elegant. Overall, the design of this big SUV is quite understated and is quite subjective to one’s choice.
Honda CR-V Interior
The CR-V is a luxury SUV for 5 passengers. The comfort and interior are one of the things where this SUV truly shines compared to its competitors. The Ivory Leather Seats and Wood finish garnish dashboard give it a premium fit and finish. The dashboard gets a soft touch treatment and comes with a massive 17.8 cm touchscreen infotainment system which supports both Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
In terms of technology, CR-V gets a Digital instrument cluster and an Electric Power string with mounted controls. The Voice command feature further adds more practicality to get the things done. The ORVMs can be electrically adjustable and comes with built-in camera which shows a side view in the infotainment system whenever Driver turns on the indicators.
CR-V is known for its comfort and world class interior. It gets a Tilt and Telescopic Steering wheel, Cooled Glove box, Cruise Control, 8-way power adjustable driver seat, height adjustable seat belts and all leather seats. Dual zone Automatic Climate Control along with Rear AC vents gives you the utmost comfort. CR-V is a big SUV and certainly has good cabin space, however the addition of big sunroof further makes cabin light up with natural light and gives airy feeling. Needless to say, the SUV comes with other standard features like Powered windows, centre armrest with cup holders and many others.
Honda CR-V Safety Features
Honda CR-V gets a Dual i-SRS Airbags for Driver and Front Passenger and curtain airbags at the side, making it one of the safest SUV in the segment. The high tensile steel body structure has enough crumpled zones for the passenger safety. The SUV comes with standard ABS with EBD, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Agile Handling Assist (AHA) and Hill Start Assist (HSA). The seat belts are height adjustable and also equipped with ISOFIX Child Seat Anchorages.
To make it theft proof, it gets a Security Alarm and Engine Immobilizer. The Reverse Parking Sensors and Camera along with dynamic guidelines help to get out of tight parking spaces. With all these safety features, no wonder Honda CR-V scored a 5 star safety rating at the Euro NCAP crash test.

Honda CRV BS6 is powered by a 2L, 4 cylinder, SOHC i-VTEC, 1997 cc, Petrol engine producing a power of 154 PS @ 6500 rpm and a torque of 189 Nm @ 4300 rpm. The engine is paired with CVT gearbox and has a mileage of 14.4 kmpl which is best in segment. Despite being a petrol SUV, the mileage is quite respectable. Honda has discontinued Diesel engine as of now owing to BS6 upgrades, however, we might see it in future.
The SUV has a top speed of 195 kmph and does 0-100 kmph in just 10.26 seconds. The fuel capacity is 57 litres which gives you a range of 700+ kms on a single full tank.
Honda CR-V Chassis, Suspension & Brakes
Honda CR-V is a luxury SUV known for its comfort & convenience and much of this comes from the suspension setup and refined Chassis for better driving quality. The SUV gets a McPherson Strut Coil Spring at the front and Multilink Coil Spring at the rear. Honda CR-V BS6 Price
Honda has discontinued Diesel variants owing to the BS6 emission norm. The CR-V is now offered only in Petrol Single Automatic CVT variant. It is priced at 28.27 lakh ex showroom Delhi. Honda might launch Diesel variant in coming months given that its competitor continues to offer. In the segment, Honda CR-V gets a tough competition from Skoda Karoq, Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace, Toyota Fortuner and Ford Endeavour.
