New Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace | 7 seater

Volkswagen Tiguan has been in India since 2017. With Tiguan, Volkswagen entered in the premium SUV market of India. Recently Volkswagen updated Tiguan with new model Tiguan Allspace. The all new Tiguan Allspace is very spacious thanks to its increased dimensions. The new SUV has been designed with 7 seating options and comes with massive 1274 litres of boot space.

The knee room in third row is not enough as compared to other SUVs such as Endeavour however it is best for Childrens. There is ample space in the middle row for three adult passengers. The interior is finished in black with minimal use of plastics. The cabin gets soft touch and good black finish. Coming to the driver seat, it gets a fully Digital speedometer displaying information at a quick glance. With adjustable steering wheel and buttons to navigate instrumental cluster makes it easier to operate.

Daytime running Lights, LED Headlamps and alloy wheels makes SUV look more stunning. Keyless entry makes easy to go and leather seats provide more comfort. Three zone climatronic AC control allows passengers to choose different temperatures in each row. The features like Tyre pressure monitoring, Reverse parking camera and Park Assist add more convenience The new SUV also gets 7 airbags to protect the passengers.

Engine Details:

New Tiguan Allspace gets BS6 compliant 2.0L Petrol engine. The automatic 7-speed Dual shift Gearbox makes shifting gears effortless. The new SUV comes with 4 wheel drive system and distributes power to all wheels as required. The engine generates 190 PS @ 4200 rpm and torque 320 Nm @ 1500 – 4100 rpm. The fuel capacity is 60 litres. The All new Tiguan Allspace is available only in petrol option which is a great disappointment.

Conclusion: Given the price 33 lakhs, we feel the SUV is a bit overpriced. However if you look at the interior and safety standards it is good to consider this SUV. Built like a tank and good ride quality makes it top among the premium SUV segment.
