Design
Apache RTR 160 is one of the flagship products offered by TVS. The new Apache RTR BS6 now gets a new Red paint scheme. The bike looks sporty and bold. The Muscled Engine & Tail Cowl looks good and also keeps the Engine cooled. The tank scoop helps to redirect the air to the Engine area. The Aerodynamic design of this bike is inspired from the racing track and plenty of such design elements can be found on this bike.
Features
The new Apache RTR 160 BS6 gets a beast inspired LED headlamps and LED tail lights. It also gets a race inspired full Digital instrument cluster which looks stunning. The Glide Through Technology allows smooth shifting and cuts down on engine stalls. As per BS6 guidelines, now it gets a Single Channel ABS as standard and also comes with an Electric Start.
Specifications
Inspired by Racing community, RTR 160 gets 4 stroke , Air cooled 159.7 cc engine producing 15.53 PS @ 8400 rpm and torque of 13.9 Nm @ 7000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5-speed manual transmission and comes with Electric Start.
The front suspension is a Telescopic with Hydraulic Dampers having travel of 105mm and at the rear it gets Monotube Inverted Gas-filled Shox (MIG) with spring aid. It comes with black alloy wheels and Tube less tyres which looks good and convenient. The RTR 160 now gets a Single Channel Super Moto ABS gets a Disc break at the front and rear (Drum/Disc) based on variant.
The bike continues to get halogen headlamp along with LED position lamp and LED tail light. The Fuel capacity is 12 litres and mileage happens to be 45 KMPL.
