Hyundai Venue Safe Guards 6 Passengers in a Major Accident
Hyundai Venue is one of the most selling compact SUV in India. Launched in 2019, the company has sold more than 2.5 lakh units in India. Given its huge sales it is also important to know how safe it is. In a recent video uploaded by Nikhil Rana, the Hyundai Venue met with an accident somewhere in Gujarat. As visible in the pictures and youtube video, the container flipped on the bonnet of Venue. The compact SUV managed to maintain its shape and pillar remained intact. All the six passengers escape the accident and didn’t suffer any injuries.
Hyundai Venue Safety Specifications
From the pictures its not clear which variant it is however the top variants are equipped with six airbags which provides good safety to passengers. The Global NCAP ratings are not available for Venue which is sold in India since it was not given for testing. However the Australian Venue scores 4 star rating.
Hyundai Venue Engine and Pricing
Hyundai Venue is offered in both petrol and diesel variants. There are 18 variants to choose from with combination of manual and automatic transmission. There are 3 petrol and 2 diesel options. The Petrol engine is 1197 cc and 999 cc and 998 cc and Diesel engine is 1493 cc and 1498 cc. Hyundai Venue is priced from INR 6.99 lakh and goes upto 11.87 lakh ex showroom.
