Activa 125 Design & Features
Honda Activa which carries a more than a couple of decade old history has received upgrades in terms of BS6 norms. The new Activa gets small touches which distinguish it from its old BS4 sibling. The 125 cc scooter gets a full metal body and comes with new LED headlamps & bulb type indicators. The chrome strip on the panels provide extra shine and enhances its overall look. The BS6 variant is now equipped with Honda’s eSP technology, which improves mileage by 13%. It gets an ACG silent start feature and has Side stand engine cut off option.
Finally, Honda has also equipped Activa 125 BS6 with an external fuel filling option which is more convenient than traditional method. The scooter has storage options like 18 litres of under seat and decent size front glove box. The instrument cluster is Digital in Deluxe and Alloy variant giving useful information like distance to empty, real time mileage and average mileage.
Activa 125 Specifications
The Activa 125 BS6 is equipped with 4 stroke, single cylinder 124 cc engine producing a power of 8.30 PS @ 6500 rpm and a torque of 10.3 Nm @ 5000 rpm. It comes with Automatic gearbox and has a a PGM fuel injection system. The fuel capacity is 5.3 litres and has a mileage of whooping 60 kmpl which makes it one of best BS6 scooter in India in terms of mileage.
In terms of braking, the scooter is equipped with 190 mm Disc (Deluxe) at the front and 130 mm Drum at the rear. It comes with a Honda’s Combined Braking System technology, which provides good braking performance on slippery surfaces.
