Tata Harrier 2020 | The Big SUV
Harrier is Tata’s first premium SUV launched in Indian market. Tata Harrier is built on OMEGARC platform borrowed from Landrover. The OMEGARC platform has been modified to suit Indian road conditions. Harrier is a big SUV by all means and has good road presence. The all new design and big honeycomb grill gives a distinct look.
Exterior
Built on Omegarc platform, the Landrover design is extensively borrowed and well implemented in Harrier. The front grill with daytime running front LED lights and projector headlamps makes it look very appealing. The chrome door handles and chrome strip running on the sides add premium feel to this big SUV. The 17 inc diamond cut alloy wheels and LED tail lamps makes it very sportier.
Interior
Interior of Harrier is of top notch quality. The leather seats with good head room and under thigh support provide great comfort for long drives. The infotainment system supports both Android Auto and Apple Carplay. With Steering mounted controls and Voice support commands much of the features can be access easily. The Oak finished dashboard is certainly the highlight of Harrier. Being a SUV, Harrier provides good visibility to the Driver with upright seating position and six way power adjustable seats. Tata Harrier is incredibly safe vehicle. Built on Omegarc platform, the monocoque chassis is very rigid. Harrier comes with 6-speed manual as well as automatic transmission. The fuel capacity is 50 litres and has mileage of 16.7 KMPL. Tata Harrier is a very big and bold looking SUV. It certainly has good road presence and commands respect. It comes with powerful engine which can take you places. Also Tata Harrier misses out on All wheel drive option which is very important for this big SUV. Tata Harrier also comes only with Diesel option which might be disappointing for some. Though Tata Harrier is a big in size and comes with good amount of features still it has some ergonomics issues. However those who like big SUV which has very good road presence and bold look with decent engine performance then Harrier is certainly a good vehicle.
