Jeep Compass comes with 4 variants, Sport Plus, Longitude, Longitude Plus and Limited Plus. The range of features vary based on the variants. Compass comes with two engine options.
- 2.0L Multijet II Turbo Diesel Engine which generates 173 PS and 350 Nm of torque. The fuel efficiency on 4×2 variant is 17.1 KMPL whereas on 4×4 it gives 16.3 KMPL.
- 1.4L MultiAir Petrol Engine which generates 162 PS and 250 Nm of torque. The fuel efficiency on 4×2 is 14.1 KMPL.
The 4×4 Compass is high capable and comes with features such as axle disconnect functionality which disengages 4×4 when not needed. The gear shifts are smooth and there is less noise in the passenger compartment. The Compass Limited Plus comes with (R18) alloy wheels while other variants come with 17 inch alloy wheels as standard. The Diesel variants of Compass Longitude, Longitude and Limited Plus comes with 9-speed Automatic transmission. The Petrol version of Jeep Limited Plus comes with 7-speed Automatic transmission.
