Bajaj Dominar 400

Exterior

The new Dominar 400 BS6 comes with massive LED headlights at front providing ample amount of visibility at night. The suspension setup at the front is 43 mm USD with 135 mm of travel provides a comfortable ride on rough terrains while at the rear you get adjustable monoshock. Dominar 400 BS6 comes with dual channel ABS as standard. With 320mm disc at front and 230mm disc at the rear provide good braking performance. The low profile radial tyres offer superb stability while cornering. The new designed alloy wheels look striking and elegant. The front tyre size is 110/70-17 and the rear comes with 150/60-17. Keeping the riding community in mind, the new Dominar provides mounting for Bungee Chords and allows plenty of customization option for the luggage.

Specifications

The KTM borrowed Duke 390 373 cc fuel injected, triple-spark 4 valve liquid cooled engine which produces 40 PS @ 8650 rpm and torque of 35 Nm @ 7000 rpm. This engine comes with a 6-speed gearbox and a slipper clutch allowing to shift gears smoothly. The engine has been refined for more touring friendly. The fuel capacity is 13 liters and the mileage is 27 KMPL. Bajaj Dominar comes with seat height of 800 mm which is suitable for low as well as tall riders. Dominar 400 is a good fast highway cruiser. The comfortable riding position and lesser vibrations make ride pleasant. It also performs well in the city and can be easily maneuvered in traffic. Dominar 400 misses out on Bluetooth connectivity and secondary console mounted on tank is difficult to read while riding.
